Rome Police are investigating the tragic death of a fifteen-year-old who was killed when he fell off his bicycle while riding on the sidewalk on Shorter Avenue last Friday night around 10:30 PM.  Rome Police Assistant Police Chief Debbie Burnett tole the Rome News Tribune, “It’s just a terrible tragedy”.  Livano Alexander Ramirez Nolasco, originally from Guatemala, was living with his uncle in Rome and attending Rome City Schools.  Police say it appears that the teen fell off of his bicycle and into the path of an oncoming SUV.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
