Authorities in Floyd County arrested a 19 year old Rome resident and charged him with child molestation stemming from an incident that allegedly happened on the 28^th of June.  According to reports 19 year old Dustin Dewayne Barnes of a Salem Drive address allegedly engaged in illicit sexual activity with a 14 year old female.  Barnes was arrested last week and booked into the Floyd County Jail.
