A 34-year-old Rome woman is accused of stealing $36,500 from her employer.
According to the warrants:
On March 30 of this year, Ashlei Leann Latimer made a check out to herself using Paper Recovery of Georgia’s checking account and then cashed the check for $30,000 at a local bank.
She cashed two more checks on July 3 and August 2, one for $5,000 and the other for $1,500.
Latimer is charged with three felony counts of theft by taking.
