Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry says that two of the three roofing projects that were recently bid have been completed.

Elsberry has turned in insurance claims on the Chattooga County Courthouse, the Chattooga County EMA/911 Center on Farrar Drive, the Chattooga County Senior Center and a building at Chattooga County Public Works on Stockade Road.  The insurance, provided through the Georgia Association of County Commissioners, has approved all of the claims.

Commissioner Elsberry told WZQZ News this week that the roof on the senior center has been completed and American Roofing, the same company that did the work on the courthouse, has completed the work at the EMA /911 building.  Elsberry said that he spoke with the contractor doing the work at the Public Works location and they are planning to get started the end of this week or the first of next week.
