The Salvation Army in Rome was able to provide Christmas for hundreds of people if Floyd, Polk and Chattooga Counties.  The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program serves children and senior adults each year.  Applications are accepted for the program and then donors make sure that each one of the people on the Angel Tree Program list receives what they need for Christmas.  This year, the Rome Salvation Army was able to provide 437 Angel Trees, according to Captain Paula Blevins.  Captain Blevins said, “We really want to thank the Rome Braves for letting us use their stadium to deliver the presents.”
