Santa Claus was extremely busy at Dowdy Park last Friday evening.  At the annual City of Summerville’s Christmas in the Park, Santa was available for free pictures and a lot of area residents took advantage of the opportunity to have their kids pictures made with old Saint Nick.

Santa Claus told WZQZ News that he lost count of how many children came to see him on Saturday, but he assures us that it was the largest turnout he has ever seen at the Christmas in the Park event.

Today, parents can pick up their Christmas in the Park Santa pictures at the Summerville Recreation Center.

Santa says that with Christmas coming this Saturday, he will have to be preparing for his busiest night of the year and won’t be available for any more free pictures in Chattooga County this year.  But – Chattooga County State Court Judge Jon Dennis said that Santa will be doing a Facebook live event on Wednesday evening.
