The novel coronavirus, named this week as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, is upending plans for students around the world who were scheduled to take the SAT. The College Board is posting last-minute information about testing sites that have been shuttered because of the virus, including testing at Trion High School.  The school announced on Friday: “The SAT college admission test scheduled for March 14, 2020 at Trion High School has been cancelled due to increasing concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak.  College Board will contact students by email.” The SAT is a required part of the admissions materials students must submit at three out of four colleges in the U.S.
