Chattooga County Commissioner Andy Allen told WZQZ News as of 11 AM, most roads in the county are in good shape. Notable exceptions are areas on Little Sand Mountain and Lookout Mountain. The commissioner says that right now, public works is focusing on State Line Road and Gilreath Mill Road at Cloudland. Travelers in the higher elevations should continue to use extra caution. The commissioner and sheriff’s department will be monitoring roads overnight, but Commissioner Allen says there could be isolated slick spots on Sunday morning and drivers should continue to use caution..
