Floyd County police investigators were looking Friday for two women who had been reported missing in unrelated cases.

Authorities said Ashley Nycole Jones, 25, of Rome, was reported missing Friday after she disappeared early Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Brandy Renee Maynor, also of Rome, was last seen by her family on Jan. 30, and her family has grown more worried about her whereabouts, police added.

Jones, who just celebrated her 25th birthday Wednesday, was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday walking from Canard Road toward Kingston Highway. Jones was barefoot and bleeding after stepping on glass. Police believed she is in danger because of the freezing temperatures early Thursday morning. Additionally, Jones told her family to “pray for me something is about to happen bad,” according to the police report.

According to the police report, Jones is described as having brown eyes and brown hair. She is approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds. Jones was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green T-shirt.

Anyone with information about Jones should call 706-235-7766.
