A search warrant served last week by the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force, the Chattooga County Sheriffs Office, and the Summerville Police Department lead to the arrest of a Summerville man and woman last week.

On Thursday February 4th, DEA agents and local law enforcement served a search warrant at a Stevens Street address. After knocking and receiving no answer, agents forcefully opened the door. Two occupants were located in the back room of the house, Mr. Ed Bennett and Ms. Monica Jones. After securing both occupants, law enforcement did a search of the house which resulted in locating 2 glass pipes, and several baggies of suspected methamphetamine.

Both Bennett and Jones were placed under arrested and transported to the Chattooga County Jail. They were both charged with with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.
