Floyd County Police executed a search warrant last week that turned up a large amount of illegal prescription pills in the Armuchee area.

According to reports, forty-four-year-old Angela Nichole Helton of a Martha Berry Highway Address was found to be in possession of  oxycodone, amphetamine, and methylphenidate tablets. There were over 33 different medications that were not prescribed to Helton inside the residence, according to police.

Helton was charged with three felony counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and a single misdemeanor count of possession of dangerous drugs.
