Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters will hold a second EMS Meeting coming up tomorrow evening at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville.  Commissioner Winters said that in addition to providing several "what if"scenerios, he will compare the proposals from both Redmond and Floyd and provide a time for public comment. 

Over 250 people turned out for the first EMS meeting held in December.  Commissioner Winters is considering privatizing Chattooga County’s Ambulance Service in an effort to save money and provide more service to the county.   Those opposed to the move say that the ambulance service should remain under local control.
