A second juvenile has been charged in connection with a threatening social media post directed towards Ridgeland High School. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office announced that a 16-year-old student at Ridgeland High School has been charged with one count of Terroristic Threats or Acts Against a School, a felony. This development follows the earlier arrest of another 16-year-old juvenile on May 20, 2025, who was charged with misdemeanor Terroristic Threats for a threatening post made on Snapchat on May 17, 2025. Sheriff Steve Wilson stated that the second juvenile is being held in juvenile detention. The Sheriff’s Office has not released details regarding the specific content of the threatening post or the connection between the two juveniles. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information related to these incidents to come forward.
