The Walker County Sheriff’s Office announced that a 16-year-old student at Ridgeland High School has been charged with one count of Terroristic Threats or Acts Against a School, a felony. This development follows the earlier arrest of another 16-year-old juvenile on May 20, 2025, who was charged with misdemeanor Terroristic Threats for a threatening post made on Snapchat on May 17, 2025. Sheriff Steve Wilson stated that the second juvenile is being held in juvenile detention.
