The City of Summerville Recreation Department is working with the city’s police department to install camera’s at J.R. Dick Dowdy Park.

The city says that they have already installed a security camera near Town Creek just outside the restroom facilities.  That camera is operational and the city will be monitoring it to determine where else to place security cameras in the park.

More cameras are expected to be installed this week.
