State Senator Colton Moore (R-Trenton), who represents Chattooga, Dade, Walker and Catoosa Counties in Northwest Georgia, will be holding a state senate committee meeting tomorrow (Friday, November 10, 2023) at the capitol in Atlanta on border security.
Moore is the chairman of the Georgia Senate’s Interstate Cooperation Committee. In a press release on Wednesday, Senator Moore said the committee meeting will be “on Georgia’s cooperation with Texas regarding shared concerns of border security and illegal immigration. This hearing will bring together local, state and federal officials to review the combined interstate efforts to combat illegal immigration and human trafficking in Georgia”.

Ms. Jan Lennon, General Manager Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Mr. Tom Homan, Former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director
Representative Bryan Slaton, Texas HD-2
Mr. Chris Russo, President of Texans for Strong Borders
Ms. Dale Carruthers, Terrell County, Texas Judge
Mr. Roy Boyd, Goliad County, Texas Sherriff
Mr. Brent Smith, Kinney County, Texas Attorney
Mr. Jaeson Jones, Retired Texas DPS Captain, Intel & Counterterrorism Division
The meeting will be held at 1 PM on Friday.
