U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff would like to share that the Medicare open enrollment period is now open. This is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your benefits elections.
Every year, Medicare health and drug plans make changes to coverage and in-network providers and pharmacies. Newer plans may also be available at lower prices than you pay now.

From today through Thursday, December 7, 2023, Medicare enrollees can review options and make changes to their health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs.

Last year, Sen. Ossoff helped pass into law a bill to lower prescription drug costs for Georgia seniors. In addition to insulin being capped at $35/month for seniors on Medicare, starting January 1, 2024, Seniors and other Part D enrollees with high drug spending will have their out-of-pocket drug costs capped at about $3,500, and all enrollees will have their costs capped at $2,000 in 2025.
