The threat of severe weather has moved back into Northwest Georgia’s forecast.

 

The National Weather Service is calling for a 90% chance of strong thunderstorms throughout Monday, most likely beginning at 3pm and carrying on into early Tuesday morning. According to a Hazardous Weather Outlook report, Northern Georgia in particular is at risk for more of the severe weather.

 

Over an inch of rain is expected from that storm system as well. Keep it tuned to AM1180 for the latest weather updates.
