On Friday, Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader announced that his office in Summerville will have “limited access” by the public.
The sheriff is implementing steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and sickness. Sheriff Schrader told WZQZ News this week that he has been short-staffed in the office. Schrader said that Chief Deputy Kevin Woods and others have been manning the front-office while office staff recuperates from sickness.
The sheriff said that if the public needs assistance, they can call his office at 706-857-3411. If you have an emergency, you should call 911.
