Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader announced on Thursday that the annual Cpl. Mary Bullard scholarship has been awarded to a graduating Chattooga High School Senior.

This year, the scholarship went to Stefanie Reynolds.  Reynolds will be attending Jacksonville State University and studying Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensics.

The Mary Bullard Law Enforcement Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one High School Graduate that wishes to pursue a career in the Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement career field. Mary “KK” Bullard was a career law enforcement officer in Chattooga County for many years.

Cpl. Bullard’s family honors her memory by funding this scholarship.
