The Chattooga County Sheriffs Office made two trips on Saturday to settle domestic disputes between the same people.
Deputies first responded to a call of two females walking down Highway 337 appearing to be involved in an argument. The females were spotted outside a residence on Edison Street in Menlo. One of the females, identified as Morris, stated that while she had been staying there as the girlfriend of the homeowner, Neumeister was no longer letting her in.
The other female, identified as Edgeworth, had been renting a room, but was also no longer being allowed into the home. Deputies made contact with the homeowner, Neumeister, who stated that while both females had paid rent it had been the week prior and he no longer wanted them in the home. At this point another verbal argument ensued and Deputies had to break it up.
After agreeing for everyone to go there separate ways, Deputies left only to be called back to a different address several hours later regarding Neumeister and Morris. Neumeister had driven Morris to a new place to stay, where a friend, indentified as B. Salter had supposedly shoved Neumeister off the porch causing him to hit his head. Salter and Morris had left before Deputies arrived and no one else was able to verify the claim.
Neumeister was advised of magistrate proceedings.
