Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says that a bonding company, not approved by the sheriff’s office, has conned several local families out of money. In Georgia, each sheriff has the authority to approve which bonding companies are approved to issue bonds for inmates incarcerated at the jail.
The sheriff said a company claiming to be “All The Time Bonding” has been taking money from inmate’s families and promising to meet them at the Chattooga County Jail to bond out their family member. However, after paying the money, no one from the company shows up at the appointed time.
Sheriff Schrader said, “We DO NOT accept this bonding company and do not even know where they are from. It was brought to our attention after the families paid several hundred dollars to them through cash app”.
The sheriff added that there is a list of approved bond companies in the lobby of the Chattooga County Jail, along with their phone numbers. Only those bonding companies will be accepted by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
