Chattooga County Sheriffs Office responded to a call of breaking and entering this past week.

On November 20th, Deputy Dawson responded to a call at a Mitchell Dr. Address. Upon arrival the officer spoke with Misty Anderson who stated that someone had forced the door open to her late mothers residence.

According to Mrs. Anderson, her mother has passed away and her stepfather is no longer living at the residence currently.

While a filing cabinet had been opened and some papers strewn over the floor, the only thing that appeared missing was a hand written will that Mrs. Andersons late mother had written.

Mrs. Anderson also stated that a family member has been making threats and accusations of theft toward her.
