Update from Sherrif Schrader: At this time we have found no evidence to corroborate the alleged threat that was shared to social media earlier this morning concerning the Summerville Middle School. However, the school system and the Sheriffs Office are continuing to investigate the matter and at this time the child involved WILL NOT be allowed to attend school tomorrow. The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office is looking into threats aimed at Summerville Middle School. Sheriff Mark Schrader released the following statement on Monday afternoon: The Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an alleged threat involving Summerville Middle School. We have also received reports of various messages being posted to social media relating to this threat and we are working on those reports as well.
