The Sheriffs Office responded to a call about a possible stolen vehicle over the weekend.

Last Sunday afternoon, Sheriff Deputies responded to a North Ridge Estates address in regards to a possible stolen vehicle. Deputies met with Mrs. Virgina Sholtz, who stated that a vehicle being stored at a double wide trailer, just up the road, was now missing. Her son, Kenneth Sho;tz, Jr. had seen the vehicle a week prior, when he had gotten tools out of the garage. The Mercedes, which is in Kenneth Sholtz, Sr. name is stored in that garage, but was supposed to be given to Mrs. Sholtz as soon as she and Sholtz, Sr., got a divorce.

Mr. Sholtz, Sr. had inquired about the missing Mercedes a week prior with his other son, and was told it was still there. Mrs. Sholtz also said another couple, who had been hired by her husband prior to his going to prison to clean the home, was a Lacy Stoker and her husband, Duck.

The case is still active.
