Join us now for another exciting episode in the never ending soap opera known by one and all as "Shoplifting at Walmart".
This time around, a 22 year old Trion resident was accused of failing to pay for the 24-pack of Great Value brand "Twist Up" drinks that she had with her – while she was trying to leave through the grocery side of the store on Highway 27.
Walmart personnel confronted the woman, and detained her until law enforcement arrived on the scene.
Shortly thereafter Sara Rae Killingsworth found herself on the way to the Chattooga County Jail, charged with Theft by Shoplifting.
The value of the merchandise taken rang up at $4.98.
