Signups for Rec Basketball will start today for both the Summerville and Trion Recreation Departments. You can find all the information below.

Summerville Rec:

Registration will start on Monday, Oct. 21, 2018. The last day to sign up is Friday – November 15, 2018. This sport is for Boys and Girls Ages 7 to 12.

Age divisions:

Flea 7/8, Minor 9/10, Midget 11/12

A parent or guardian must complete the registration card. There is a $10.00 registration fee for city residents and a $25.00 fee for county residents. All fees must be paid at the time of registration. A copy of the participant’s birth certificate is required if one is not already on file. The age control date is Sept. 1, 2019. Trion Rec:

The Trion Recreation Department announces sign-ups for the 2019-20 Basketball season. Sign-ups will begin Monday, Oct.21st and end on Saturday, November 16th.

The age categories for Boys and Girls are 7-8 Pee-Wee Division, 9-10 Mite Division, 11-12 Midget Division. The age control date for all divisions is September 1st 2019. This means that a potential participant MUST be at least 7 years old before September 1st, 2019.

There will be no fee for Trion city residents and a $25.00 fee for residents outside the city limits of Trion. A birth certificate is required upon registration if there is not one on file with the Trion Recreation Department. NOTE: (Registration will not be accepted until payment of fee and birth certificate presented.)
