A local businessman and commercial property developer, Larry Howard is requesting a sign variance from the City of Summerville to put up a sign at his shopping plaza located on Highway 48 in Summerville.  Howard wants to install an off-premise sign at 71 Highway 48 on the building behind CVS.  The Summerville City Council will be taking up that request at their meeting this Monday afternoon at 5 PM.  The public is invited to attend the Summerville City Council Meetings.
