According to the Radio + Television Business Report, Summerville television station SKY 21 – WSKY has sold to new owners.
The deal was finalized on March 31st. Gray Television, a company that has been aggressively acquiring low-power television stations, signed off on an asset purchase agreement
Narrow Path Productions is selling the station for $325,000.
Radio + Television Business Report says that according to current owner Scott Hicken, that there are no promises that local programming will remain on SKY 21.
As far as the sale of WKSY and the valuation he received, Hicken is pleased. “It’ll be nice to move on and try something else,” he notes.
