Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson told AM 1180 this afternoon, " After a gotomeeting with the National Weather service we have learned that we will probably receive 1-2 inches of snow.
The weather should enter Chattooga County between the hours of 6-8pm tonight and continue until the hours of 6-8 am on Thursday morning.
This will create hazardous road conditions throughout the county but especially on the bridges. Also, watch for black ice on the roadways. Slow down. Drive very carefully.
Warmup should begin between the hours of 7-9 on Thursday morning with highs in the 40s.
