Some Lyerly water customers have been looking for their bills, but have not received them – or have received them late. Lyerly Town Clerk Joy Hampton told AM 1180 that for the second month in a row people are not receiving their water bills in a timely manner.
According to the Town Clerk the bills were mailed out in April well before the due date and some people didn’t get their bills until the bill was due – and some said that they didn’t receive them at all. This month’s bills were mailed out on Friday of last week and customers should have received them Saturday or Monday but as of yesterday some people still had not received their bills.
The Town Clerk said that the bills are still due on May 20th. If you have not received your bill you should contact Joy Hampton at Lyerly Town Hall. Call 706-895-2611.
