Musicians and singers and those that enjoy country, bluegrass, gospel and old-time music are invited to an event that will be held from 4 – 7 PM at Dowdy Park this Saturday, August 13th.

Songfarmers of Summerville is a group of musicians and singers who wish to help make thing better for their community through music.  The events are held each month and participants bring their own lawn chair and sit in a a circle and each participant takes turns doing their songs.

There will be a vendor on sight with food and drinks.

The family event is held each second Saturday of the month.  March through October, the events are being held at Dowdy Park.  Then, during the colder months, the event will be held at Fairway Recreation Center from 1 PM until 4 PM November- February.
