A Coosa restaurant staple, Paul`s Oyster Bar, is on the block for sale. Owner, State Senator-elect Chuck Hufstetler said that he has ran the business for 18 years, but after talking with his family, has decided to sell. He added that hopes to either sell or lease it within the next few months.

Paul`s Oyster Bar opened in the mid 1950`s.

Hufstetler came close to selling it when he went back to school to become a anesthetist at Emory University. However, his son Caleb has been running it while attending grad school and will be moving on said Hufstetler.

The restaurant added a microbrewery and a deck outside last year.
