Chattooga County Sheriff's Deputies on January 9 were dispatched to a Mountain View Road residence in reference to a stray dog biting a child. According to the report, officers arrived just before 2 p.m. and were told by Ronnie Beene, that his 10-year-ol son had been bitten by a brown, stray dog. The bite was on the lower, right leg, above the ankle. According to the deputy, the skin was not broken. Animal control was notified and picked up two brown dogs that were believed to belong at a residence down the street..
