It probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone, but another annual event has been canceled in Chattooga County due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

This week, the Summerville Recreation Department announced that Sum-Nelly has been canceled for 2020.  Bo Chamlee, Recreation Department Director, said due to the concern of large gatherings that draws attendees and vendors close together, the Sum-Nelly Arts & Crafts Festival is canceled.

Chamlee said that the City plans to host the event next year.
