The Chattooga County Nutrition Center is reporting that they gave out 47, 840 meals through the USDA Summer Feeding Program during the month of June. The free lunches will continue to be given away through the month of July at various locations throughout the county. All children up to age 18 can get a free lunch at the following locations:McGinnis Circle; Kelley Street; Field’s Walk; East Trion Church of God; Summerville Gardens; Fairway Recreation Center;United by Faith Church; Trion Heights Baptist Church; Freedom Fellowship Church; Chattooga High School; Menlo First Baptist Church. There is no charge for this meal. Any young person under 18 may receive this lunch. For more information, call Tina at 706-857-3447, ext. 105.
