The basketball courts at Fairway Recreation Center in Summerville have a new name.  At a dedication ceremony on Saturday, the courts were named in honor of local sports legend,  Chattooga High School graduate and pro-football player Senorise Perry.

The City of Summerville shared on social media, “It was a very special day today as Senorise Perry was honored at the Dedication of the Senorise Perry Basketball Courts at Fairway Recreation Center. He was also surprised by being presented The Key To The City! We are very proud of this humble and talented ‘Hometown Hero’.”

Perry told the crowd, “I will never forget where home is.”  He added, “For a small town kid like me personally, I’m truly grateful.”
