The City of Summerville will hold a called meeting this evening at 5 PM at Summerville City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to deal with the ongoing issue of the office of building inspector.  Since the resignation of the city’s building inspector, residents have been buying building permits with no one to do the inspections.  Those issues will be addressed at tonight’s meeting.  On the agenda, the council is scheduled to modify the building inspection fees and to take up a resolution to suspend the office of building inspector.  The public is invited to attend.  You can see the complete agenda below:
