The Christmas Parade in Summerville will be held this evening starting at the Chattooga High School and winding up at the old Bi-Lo Parking Lot located next to Marvin’s.

Over 70 groups will be participating in this year’s parade which always draws a huge crowd.  This year’s grand marshal will be retiring Summerville Mayor Joe Robert Norton.

The event gets underway at 7:00 PM.  Bundle up! Temperatures are forecasted to be around 30 degrees at parade time – and will drop to around 18 degrees overnight.
