The Summerville City Council met in their regular monthly meeting and work session yesterday afternoon at Summerville City Hall. The Council approved a beer and wine license application from the Old Phillips 66. The Council also authorized a spring clean up for April 20th – April 24th. Summerville Police Chief Stan Mosely reported that city officers patrolled 1,350 miles and issued 100 citations in the month of February. The Council approved an emergency repair at the water treatment plant that cost $16,569. AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will have more from the Summerville City Council meeting in upcoming newscasts.
