AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio received word early Monday afternoon that Summerville City Manager Grady McCalmon has been taken off life support.

Several city workers along with local government officials had been told that Mr. McCalmon had passed away earlier today, however that information was not correct. 

AM 1180 Chattooga County received word that Mr. McCalmon was still in ICU but is not in good condition.  He was taken off life support earlier today at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.
