Summerville Main Street will host a “Salute To The Troops” event on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the historic Summerville Train Depot. The free community event aims to honor Summerville’s living and deceased veterans through a poignant exhibit and a day of family-friendly activities.

Central to the “Salute To The Troops” will be the “Hometown Heroes” exhibit, showcasing the lives and service of local veterans. Families of these brave men and women have submitted cherished photos, biographical sketches, and personal memorabilia, creating a deeply personal and moving tribute to those who have served our nation.
