Residents of Summerville will soon have the opportunity to cast their ballots in the upcoming Municipal General and Special Election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025. In anticipation of this important civic event, the City of Summerville has announced the commencement of advance and absentee voting, beginning on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

The election will feature races for the Mayor, as well as for Council Seats #1, #2, and #3.

Voters looking to participate early can do so at Summerville City Hall, located at 120 Georgia Ave, Summerville, GA 30747. Advance voting will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Summerville City Hall will also open its doors for advance voting on two Saturdays: October 18, 2025, and October 25, 2025, during the same hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

For residents unable to vote in person during the advance voting period, absentee ballots are an option. Applications for absentee ballots must be received by Friday, October 24, 2025. Prospective voters can obtain an absentee ballot application from the city office.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, all polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Summerville City Hall, 120 Georgia Ave, Summerville, GA 30747.
