Summerville Main Street will be hosting a Jazz Festival this Saturday (August 7th).  Motorists are reminded that East Washington Street will be closed today in preparation for the Jazz Festival.

This New Orleans themed festival is a FREE public event getting underway at 3 PM this afternoon and lasting until 10 PM tonight.

That event will take place down the East Washington Street Streetscape with the first two blocks of East Washington Street from U.S. 27/Commerce Street – being closed to traffic from 5 AM to 11 PM.

Those attending can enjoy live music, food, art exhibits and many other activities for the entire family.
