A Chattooga County man was arrested in neighboring Cherokee County, Alabama on Monday of this week and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to jail records from the Cherokee County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office, fifty-seven-year-old Jessie Williams of Summerville was arrested Monday evening by Cherokee County Deputies and charged with DUI.

Williams was being held on $1500 bond at the Cherokee County Detention Center in Centre, Alabama as of Tuesday.
