A Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy recently responded to a call stating that a wanted subject was seen walking down the roadway; the man was quickly found in the 500 block of Back Berryton Road and taken into custody.

According to the Incident Report while in the intake room at the jail, a clear glass pipe, with a white substance inside the pipe suspected to be meth, was found on the man’s person.

The subject, 31 year old Summerville resident Jimmy Edward Lowe was then charged with VGCSA, possession and use of drug-related objects – and crossing the guard line with illegal substance.
