Summerville Police responded to a domestic dispute on Hawkins Drive last week after a woman accused a man of assaulting her.

When police arrived and spoke with the complainant, she said that the suspect, who she was in a relationship with, was having a conversation with another woman and she overheard them talking about things of a “sexual nature”.  When the complainant approached the suspect about the issue, the two got into a confrontation that the victim said was physical and also said that the suspect had a gun.

Police spoke with the suspect, he invited police into his house.  The suspect confirmed to police that he had talked to another woman about having sex with him and that he and the complainant did get into an argument, but denied any physical confrontation, and denied having a gun.  Police said that there was no sign that any physical altercation had taken place.  However, the suspect had an outstanding warrant from Walker County.

Police arrested fifty-year-old Llewellen Moten on the outstanding warrant and booked him into the Chattooga County Jail.
