Walker County authorities have arrested a Chattooga County man and charged him with several counts after investigators determined that he had sexual contact with a young child.

Twenty-nine-year-old Taylor Rashad Walton of Summerville was booked into the Walker County Jail this week over an incident that happened on October 24th at a residence in LaFayette.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson says that Walton is accused of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy and child molestation after he had contact with a six-year-old girl.

Walton is being held in the Walker County Jail without bond, pending a Superior Court hearing.
