A forty-five-year-old Chattooga County man was arrested yesterday in Floyd County on multiple charges, including identity fraud, second-degree forgery and negotiating fictitious checks.  Floyd County Police say that Ashford Lamont Price of Summerville  and another individual used a financial slip order along with the victim’s identification in the drive-thru at a bank on Martha Berry Highway to obtain $600 from the victim’s account. Price then refused to provide his real name to police. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of obstruction and giving false information.
