A forty-eight-year-old Summerville man was being held at the Cherokee County, Alabama Detention Center on Thursday on a variety of  theft and burglary charges.

Records from the jail indicated that Eric Burke of Summerville was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with several counts of burglary and theft.

Docket records indicated that Burke’s bond was set at $25,000.
