Joseph Lydell Edgeworth, 46 of Summerville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he was captured on security footage stealing $4,700 worth of merchandise from Babazz Store on Redmond Circle.
Police said that Edgeworth went into the store around 3 am on July 7th and stole men’s and women’s clothing, paintings, dinner sets, curtains, bed liners and comforters.
Edgeworth is charged with felony shoplifting and failure to obey traffic control devices.
